Job Description

The Utah Center for Rural Health hosts a Rural Health Scholars (RHS) program of about 500 pre-health undergraduate students. As a part of RHS, pre-podiatry students organize a Foot Clinic once a month in Cedar City and once a month in St. George. These are held at local homeless shelters and basic foot-care services are provided for residents.
Wage is $50 per hour. The clinic usually runs about 2 hours total, and happens twice per month (one in Cedar City and one in St. George). Travel details will be negotiated upon hire.

General Duties & Responsibilities

The Foot Clinic Supervisor would oversee this Foot Clinic, helping with patients directly and assisting pre-podiatry students as they interact with patients. Knowledge of proper foot care is required to assist patients yet more serious foot issues are referred to specialty clinics locally.

Required Qualifications

Must be a current or retired health care provider with updated certifications. This position is open to a current Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Physician, or Podiatrist.
